Panorama Descent

Panorama Descent - From Cezsoča to Boka

A gentle journey through breathtaking beauty

This is the easiest and most accessible route on the Soča River—perfect for beginners, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the valley in a relaxing and fun way. But don’t be fooled by the word “easy”—this stretch is nothing short of spectacular.

From the starting point in Cezsoča, we’ll paddle through a wide, ever-changing riverbed shaped by seasonal floods. Along the way, you’ll find stunning white-sand and pebble beaches, and be mesmerized by the crystal-clear turquoise water.

Shortly after launching, glance behind you to see Mount Svinjak, the iconic peak above Bovec. On the right, the majestic Kanin mountains follow us for most of the route. As we float along calm waters and easy rapids, you’ll pass through filming locations from The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian, shot by Walt Disney right here in the Soča Valley.

In just over an hour, we’ll arrive at the take-out beneath the awe-inspiring Boka Waterfall, the tallest in Slovenia, plunging 106 meters into the valley below.
