Integral Descent – From Zmuklica to Trnovo
A full-length Soča River experience for adventurous paddlers
This extended descent offers a unique way to explore the Soča River from its upper sections to its most dynamic rapids. Spanning 21 kilometers, it combines scenic beauty with a variety of river conditions, making it an unforgettable experience for those seeking both challenge and immersion in nature.
The journey begins at Zmuklica, with the first 5 kilometers offering intermediate-level paddling through a wilder stretch of river flanked by dense forests. As you approach Čezsoča, the river widens and the pace relaxes, revealing breathtaking landscapes, white pebble beaches, and views of Mount Kanin.
This central part of the descent passes through areas featured in the film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, adding a magical touch to the adventure. From here, the river picks up energy again as you pass the spectacular 106-meter-high Boka Waterfall — the starting point of the classic descent.
The final section leads through the thrilling rapids that bring you to the end point near the Trnovo bridge.
This descent is ideal for those who want to experience the full diversity of the Soča River in one extended adventure.
