Soča Panorama Packrafting

Kayak descent on the Soča River from Čezsoča to Boka Waterfall

The Soča Panorama Packrafting trip is one of the most scenic and versatile routes on the Soča River, perfect for those who want to experience the river in an active, light and immersive way.

This section combines easy navigation, spectacular landscapes and fun rapids, making it ideal both for beginners and for those looking for an alternative to rafting.

Thanks to our ultralight packrafts, you can navigate the river independently, always accompanied by Alpin Action guides, experiencing the Soča in a more direct and dynamic way.

A journey through the turquoise waters of the Soča

In this section, the riverbed is wide and shaped by seasonal flows, creating a unique landscape of white pebble beaches, small islands and crystal-clear emerald water.

Shortly after departure from Čezsoča, the view opens up to Mount Svinjak, the iconic peak of the Bovec area.

Along the descent, the Kanin massif dominates the right side, rising above 2500 meters and creating one of the most spectacular alpine settings in the Soča Valley.

The route alternates calm sections with fun rapids, perfect for gaining confidence with the packraft and enjoying the natural flow of the river.

What is packrafting

A packraft is a high-performance inflatable kayak designed to be lightweight, compact and durable.

It weighs less than 5 kg and is extremely easy to handle, allowing immediate control even for first-time users.

Originally designed for use in combination with trekking, it is now one of the most modern and versatile ways to explore natural environments.

Arrival at Boka Waterfall

After about one hour on the river, the descent ends at the base of the spectacular Boka Waterfall.

With a total drop of 106 meters, it is the highest waterfall in Slovenia and one of the natural symbols of the Soča Valley.

Reaching it by paddling makes the experience even more intense and memorable.
